Code of Ethics
Steehatch Defense, s. r. o. is dedicated to promoting a culture of integrity, responsibility, and commitment in its endeavors. This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the ethical and responsible conduct we expect from our suppliers. We believe that by upholding these principles, we will foster a sustainable and productive future for all stakeholders.
1. Compliance with Laws and Agreements
a. Suppliers shall operate in full compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.
b. Suppliers shall uphold and respect all contractual obligations and agreements made with Steehatch Defense, s. r. o. and third parties.
2. Compliance with Human Rights
a. Suppliers shall not support or participate in any form of forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking.
b. All operations should respect individual human rights, and suppliers shall avoid any action that may cause harm or infringe upon these rights.
c. Suppliers must respect indigenous rights and shall not engage in or support any activity that harms indigenous communities or their environments.
3. Employment Practices
a. Suppliers shall provide a workplace that is free from harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, ensuring all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
b. Suppliers must ensure fair compensation, working hours, and benefits as mandated by local laws and regulations.
c. Suppliers must recognize and respect employees’ rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
4. Anti-Corruption
a. Suppliers shall not engage in bribery, kickbacks, or any other form of corrupt practices, whether dealing with public officials, Steehatch Defense employees, or any third party.
b. Suppliers must uphold fair business standards and practices, providing transparency in all business dealings.
5. Conflict of Interest
a. Suppliers must disclose any situation that may appear as a conflict of interest, and must not engage in activities that might compromise the trust or integrity of Steehatch Defense.
6. Information Protection
a. Suppliers are obligated to protect and manage data, intellectual property, and confidential information entrusted to them with utmost care.
b. The use of information acquired in the course of business dealings must be restricted to its intended purpose and must not be used for any unauthorized purpose.
7. Environment
a. Suppliers are expected to operate in an environmentally responsible manner, minimizing waste, emissions, and resource consumption.
b. Compliance with environmental laws and regulations is mandatory, and suppliers are encouraged to adopt sustainable practices.
8. Health and Safety
a. Suppliers shall provide a safe and healthy working environment for their employees.
b. Suppliers must adhere to applicable health and safety laws and regulations, and strive to go beyond compliance, ensuring the welfare of all stakeholders.
Steehatch Defense, s. r. o. reserves the right to verify compliance with this Code through audits and reviews. Suppliers found in violation of this Code may face corrective actions, up to and including termination of the business relationship.
We encourage our suppliers to not only comply with this Code but to also adopt similar principles in their own operations and supply chains. Together, we can forge a brighter and more responsible future.
